inb4 two months from now “let’s make Winter the best season” followed by “let’s make Spring the best season” and then again “let’s make Summer the best season” and watch whatever marketing firm Home Depot hired completely destroy all meaning behind the phrase “best season” because if they’re all the best then none of them are the best.

Wew, rant over.

No. 2nd. Technically 3rd but it’s a tie for first so...

Fall is the best season. FACT

I get to wear cozy sweaters, which are the best clothing.

The transition seasons are my favorite; so Spring and Fall. I don’t mind Winter as I don’t hate Snow, but fuck the humidity in the summer. There’s nothing about Summer weather that makes things more enjoyable that I don’t already get with Spring and Fall.

Wait ... which ones are tying for first? Mud and construction?

1st: Tie between winter and summer. I love both of them.

2nd(3rd?): Fall.

DEAD LAST: Spring. Too wet, too muddy, not warm enough, not cold enough. As it is I have no love for it. If it wasn’t for maple syrup (Needs the fluctuating temps for a good sap harvest) and the fact that we need that soft transition to get stuff growing again I’d absolutely hate it.

I think it comes down to activities. Favorites are swimming and hockey/skating. Fall is too cold for one and too warm for the other. You can hike and bike and look at the colours, but you can hike/bike in summer and hike/sled in winter, and winter landscapes are spectacular in their own way. Spring has the same temperature issue, is usually too wet too much of the time to do the hike/bike thing, and as far as scenery goes it’s all just brown, soggy and barren.

Actually, I agree. I don’t like sand. Bad choice of wording. Snow and ROCK BEACH/SHORELINE/WATER. Ok fine, Hockey and swimming.

Fall is best. I especially like the latter 2/3rds where things start getting a lot cooler, but not to cool to go outside in more than a light jacket.
